Kalvin Phillips Future at City set to be put to an end.

Despite winning a treble last season, life for Kalvin Phillips at Manchester City has been shadowed by injury and lack of time in the starting lineup and it now looks like his 8 year contract is set to be cut short by the club in a hope to recoup some of the £45M that was spent to bring him from Elland Road to the Etihad Stadium in 2022.
Kalvin has featured for just 760 minutes for the club since signing from Leeds United and has yet to score or assist for the club.

One of the frontrunners to sign Phillips, according to the Daily Mail, is German giants Bayern Munich. The 2020 Champions League winning side have a history of signing out of favour Man City stars on loan as they did with Joao Cancelo last year, while the move would also see Phillips reunite with one of his England team mates in Harry Kane.

Other potential suitors for Phillips could be fellow Premier League sides Newcastle United and Everton, according to reports. Newcastle are hoping to bulk out their midfield options to cope with the demands of European football and Everton seeking to finish higher than their 17th place finish last  season by bolstering the middle of the park.
